Regular Season Round 32: Nancy - Blois 57-64

ProB top team - ADA Blois (26-6) added another victory to their record on Tuesday. This time they beat seventh ranked Sluc Nancy (19-13) 64-57. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sluc Nancy. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sluc Nancy won third quarter 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ADA Blois forced 19 Sluc Nancy turnovers. The winners were led by American forward Tyren Johnson (202-88, college: La-Lafayette) who scored that evening 13 points and 5 rebounds and Ahmed Doumbia (195-89, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 8 points. Even 10 points by American guard Dewayne Russell (180-94, college: Grand Canyon) did not help to save the game for Sluc Nancy. Power forward Mickael Var (205-90) added 8 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ADA Blois maintains first position with 26-6 record. Loser Sluc Nancy keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. ADA Blois will meet at home Saint Chamond (#5) in the next round. Sluc Nancy will play against Lille Metropole and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
