Al Riyadi fired past Homenetmen to even the championship series at 1-1. Al Riyadi outrebounded Homenetmen 40-26 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice, agency: IPZ) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. The former international guard Amir Saoud (186-91) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) replied with 16 points and 9 assists and Tunisian Makram Ben-Romdhane (204-89) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Homenetmen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
