Ragusa recorded the second straight victory in Serie A1 Finals. They held off Familia Schio to force the decisive Game 5. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-21. But Familia Schio won second period 19-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Dearica Hamby (190-93, college: Wake Forest, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import forward Jessica Kuster (188-92, college: Rice) who added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side French Nwal-Endene Miyem (188-88) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and international point guard Francesca Dotto (170-93, agency: LBM Management) scored 11 points and 5 assists.
