Slam Stal topped Polski Cukier to open 2-0 advantage. BM Slam Stal players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Twarde Pierniki's players. Twarde Pierniki was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Mateusz Kostrzewski (200-89, agency: Octagon Europe) notched 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American point guard Aaron Johnson (173-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) supported him with 8 points and 11 assists. Even 34 points (!!!) and 4 assists by American guard DJ Newbill (193-92, college: Penn St.) did not help to save the game for Twarde Pierniki. His fellow American import point guard Glenn Cosey (183-92, college: E.Kentucky, agency: 3Eye) added 13 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
