Quarter-Finals Round 1: Saint Vallier - Boulogne 91-96

Boulogne outgunned Saint Vallier on the road for the opening win. It was a great shooting night for SO Maritime Boulogne especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard Diante Watkins (174-90, college: Robert Morris) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 assists and 6 steals (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners and naturalized Cameroonian guard Ralph Temgoua (194-87, college: St.Lawrence) chipped in 22 points. At the losing side the former international William Gradit (197-82, college: Hill JC) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU, agency: Inception Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier's coach Jean-Sebastien Chardon rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
