Regular Season Round 34: Boulazac - Chalon 96-86

There was an upset when higher ranked Chalon/Saor (15-19) lost on the road to seventeenth ranked Boulazac Basket (12-22) 96-86 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Boulazac Basket. Chalon/Saor was better in second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Boulazac Basket made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for Aurelien Salmon (202-87) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Karvel Anderson (188-91, college: Robert Morris) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Boulazac Basket players scored in double figures. Naturalized Cameroonian Jeremy Nzeulie (188-91) replied with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Lance Harris (195-84, college: Kansas St.) added 14 points in the effort for Chalon/Saor. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Boulazac Basket maintains seventeenth position with 12-22 record. Defending champion Chalon/Saor dropped to the twelfth place with 19 games lost.
