Regular Season Round 34: Limoges - Nanterre 82-80

The most exciting game of round 34 in the ProA took place in Limoges. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked JSF Nanterre (19-15) to fifth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (20-14) 82-80 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of JSF Nanterre. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But JSF Nanterre won third quarter 22-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of international William Howard (202-93) who helped to win the game recording 12 points. American forward Kevin Jones (206-89, college: W.Virginia) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and German point guard Heiko Schaffartzik (183-84) added 19 points in the effort for JSF Nanterre. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Limoges CSP Elite have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dijon. JSF Nanterre at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 15 games lost. They share it with ASVEL.
