Finals Game 2: Kalev/Cramo - Tartu Ulikool 103-85

Kalev/Cramo outgunned Tartu Ulikool to open 2-0 lead in the championship series. It looked good early as Tartu Ulikool took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kalev/Cramo had a 34-20 second period charge getting the lead and Tartu Ulikool was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 85-103. Kalev/Cramo dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tartu Ulikool's 32. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Kalev/Cramo players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Tartu Ulikool was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Montenegrin forward Bojan Subotic (203-90) scored 19 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (184-89) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) during the contest. The former international Janar Talts (206-83) responded with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Lithuanian forward Julius Kazakauskas (196-90) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Kalev/Cramo and four Tartu Ulikool players scored in double figures. Tartu Ulikool's coach Priit Vene rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
