Cento dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Montecatiniterme's 24. They outrebounded Montecatiniterme 37-23 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was naturalized Argentinian guard Adrian Chiera (190-94, agency: Interperformances) who scored 10 points and 7 rebounds.
