Semi-Finals Game 1: Chiba Jets - Ryukyu GK 74-61

Chiba Jets coasted past Ryukyu GK to open win count in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Chiba Jets. Ryukyu GK managed to win fourth quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Gavin Edwards (206-88, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Hassan Martin (201-95, college: Rhode Island) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Ryuichi Kishimoto (176-90) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Ryukyu GK. Ryukyu GK's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
