An interesting game for Tokyo HT (17-3) which played road game in Saitama against 4th ranked Saitama Broncos (8-12). First ranked Tokyo HT managed to get a 10-point victory 85-75. Tokyo HT dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Saitama Broncos' 26 and made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Saitama Broncos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The other American import forward Joel James (208-94, college: N.Carolina) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Senegalese power forward Cheikh Sane (207-92, college: Marshall) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Ferrakohn Hall (203-90, college: Memphis) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Four Tokyo HT and five Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. Saitama Broncos' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tokyo HT maintains first position with 17-3 record. Saitama Broncos at the other side keep the fourth place with 12 games lost.
