The game without a history. Azuqueca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Azuqueca outrebounded L Alfas 57-33 including a 40-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Carlos Apolinario (-96) who scored 9 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Julian Lewis (196, college: Lewis) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Azuqueca's coach Sergio Vicente felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Nigerian forward Udun Osakue (198-92, college: San Francisco St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and center Diego Perez (204-93) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
