Finals Game 2: Bourges - Tarbes 80-56

Bourges eased past Tarbes to open 2-0 advantage in the championship series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-56. Bourges forced 20 Tarbes turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Bourges especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. International forward Valerianne Ayayi (184-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points. International point guard Marine Johannes (174-95) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Bourges players scored in double figures. Bourges' coach Olivier Lafargue felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian forward Michelle Plouffe (193-92, college: Utah, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) replied with 9 points and 13 rebounds and Australian swingman Alice Kunek (187-91) added 13 points in the effort for Tarbes.
