Le Mans prevailed against ASVEL to force decider. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 20-11. But ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket won third quarter 22-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Justin Cobbs (190-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) notched 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and Senegalese center Youssoupha Fall (221-95) supported him with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Even 10 points and 9 rebounds by American-Serbian guard DeMarcus Nelson (193-85, college: Duke) did not help to save the game for ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. American-Polish point guard AJ Slaughter (191-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: BeoBasket) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Four ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket players scored in double figures.
