Mornar Bar celebrated the second consecutive victory in Erste Liga Finals. They upset Buducnost at home court to come within one win from the title. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 49-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Mornar Bar made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. Mornar Bar outrebounded Buducnost 32-14 including 22 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. 25 personal fouls committed by Buducnost helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International point guard Derek Needham (180-90, college: Fairfield) scored 41 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian forward Strahinja Micovic (205-92) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Nikola Ivanovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and Bosnian point guard Nemanja Gordic (193-88, agency: BeoBasket) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
