Very predictable result in Canberra where third ranked BA CoE (7-4) beat 8th ranked Frankston Blues (1-11) 86-68 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was swingman Alexander Mudronja (193-99) who scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Owen Hulland (212-99) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four BA CoE players scored in double figures. BA CoE's coach Adam Caporn used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Dan Trist (206-92, college: Lafayette) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and naturalized American swingman Bennie Lewis (203-87, college: Benedict) added 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. BA CoE maintains third position in League with 7-4 record having just seven point less than leader Mackay M. Loser Frankston Blues keep the eighth place with 11 games lost. BA CoE will face NW Tasmania Thunder (#6) in Ulverstone in the next round. Frankston Blues will play at home against Geelong Supercats and hope to win that game.
