Finals Game 3: Balkan - Levski Lukoil 60-71

Levski Lukoil topped Balkan on the road to take 2-1 lead in the NBL Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Levski Lukoil. Balkan managed to win fourth quarter 14-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Stanimir Marinov (192-91, agency: Interperformances) who scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Montenegrin Nemanja Milosevic (204-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 17 points. Levski Lukoil's coach Konstantin Papazov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward DeVaughn Washington (202-89, college: Ohio, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jordan Callahan (184-90, college: Tulane) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively.
