Cassino upset Barcellona on the road in Game 1. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Argentinian power forward Enzo-Damian Cena (200-92) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. The former international power forward Simone Bagnoli (205-81, agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Flavio Gay (184-98) answered with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Luigi Brunetti (205-88) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Basket Barcellona. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Basket Barcellona's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
