Semi-Finals Game 1: Szolnok - Kormend 92-72

Szolnok rallied past Kormend in Game 1. The game was mostly controlled by Szolnok. Kormend was better in third quarter 28-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Kormend 36-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Szolnok players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Kormend was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Kendrick Perry (183-92, college: Youngstown St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Serbian forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Szolnok players scored in double figures. American guard Marquis Wright (185-95, college: Siena) answered with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Eric Fanning (196-92, college: Boston U.) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kormend. Kormend's coach Antonis Konstantinides rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
