Aalstar nipped Mons-Hainaut on the road to force decider. It was a great shooting night for Okapi Aalstar especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American-Armenian forward Andrew Chrabascz (203-94, college: Butler) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. The former international swingman Olivier Troisfontaines (196-89) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Troisfontaines is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Chris Jones (188-93, college: Angelo St.) produced 23 points and 8 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and swingman Idris Lasisi (188-88, college: Whitworth) added 12 points and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
