Maccabi Tel Aviv cruised past Ironi Nes-Ziona for the lead. The game without a history. Maccabi T-A led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and American-Hungarian swingman DeAndre Kane (195-89, college: Iowa St., agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Four Maccabi T-A players scored in double figures. Maccabi T-A's coach Neven Spahija felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Nigerian power forward Talib Zanna (206-90, college: Pittsburgh, agency: 3Eye) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Khalif Wyatt (193-91, college: Temple, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 13 points and 4 assists.
