Panathinaikos tamed PAOK in Thessaloniki to advance into A1 Finals. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 16 points. Panathinaikos outrebounded PAOK 43-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was international point guard Nick Calathes (198-89, college: Florida) who scored 27 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. American James Gist (206-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Four Panathinaikos players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Phil Goss (188-83, college: Drexel) who recorded 15 points, 5 assists and 6 steals and the other American import power forward Darnell Jackson (206-85, college: Kansas) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
