Date: May 30, 2018
Gran Canaria cruised past Valencia at home court to even the series at 1-1. The game without a history. Gran Canaria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Valencia Basket's 26. Valencia Basket was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international swingman Xavier Rabaseda (196-89) notched 22 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and international guard Oriol Pauli (201-94) supported him with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Gran Canaria players scored in double figures. Even 11 points by Montenegrin power forward Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: BeoBasket) did not help to save the game for Valencia Basket. The former international swingman Fernando San-Emeterio (199-84) added 10 points and 4 steals for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
