Finals Game 4: Mornar Bar - Buducnost 75-63

Mornar Bar claimed Erste Liga title. They edged heavy favourites Buducnost at home court to win the championship series 3-1. The game was mostly controlled by Mornar Bar. Buducnost managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mornar Bar dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Buducnost's 16. 25 personal fouls committed by Buducnost helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Derek Needham (180-90, college: Fairfield) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 assists and 5 steals and Serbian forward Strahinja Micovic (205-92) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international point guard Nikola Ivanovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 16 points and 6 assists and American guard Kyle Gibson (196-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: BeoBasket) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
