Semi-Finals Game 1: Strasbourg - Le Mans 76-66

Strasbourg topped Le Mans in the opener. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-66. SIG Strasbourg outrebounded Le Mans 42-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-89, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American-Bosnian guard Zack Wright (188-85, college: Central Mo.) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. SIG Strasbourg's coach Vincent Collet used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Justin Cobbs (190-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 26 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and the other American import swingman DJ Stephens (198-90, college: Memphis) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds.
