Quarter-Finals Round 3: FC Barcelona - Andorra 91-71

FC Barcelona rolled past Andorra to advance into the semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by FC Barcelona. Andorra was better in second period 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Andorra 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. FC Barcelona shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. It was a great evening for Croatian center Ante Tomic (217-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Hungarian Adam Hanga (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 15 points. The best for the losing side was French point guard Andrew Albicy (177-90) with 11 points and 5 assists and Slovenian Jaka Blazic (196-90) scored 13 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
