Oostende cruised past Aalstar to surge ahead in the series. Oostende outrebounded Okapi Aalstar 36-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian center Tonye Jekiri (213-94, college: Miami, FL) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. International forward Jean Salumu (193-90) contributed with 10 points and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) answered with 11 points and Samoan-American power forward John Tofi (203-84, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) added 7 points in the effort for Okapi Aalstar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
