Leones upset Atenas to take the lead in the semifinal series. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Vee Young (186-89, college: Martin Methodist) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. The former international point guard Leyda Macias (165-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Young is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Leones players scored in double figures. Russian power forward Mariya Davydova (190-93, college: FIU, agency: ProDep Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and French Rudiane Eduardo (185-93, college: UTEP, agency: ProDep Management) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Atenas.
