Alma Trieste rolled past Novipiu Casale to take the lead in Serie A2 Finals. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 27-22 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Novipiu Casale outrebounded Alma Trieste 41-25 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Montenegrin guard Javonte Green (193-93, college: Radford, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Laurence Bowers (203-90, college: Missouri) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Niccolo Martinoni (203-89) answered with 22 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Jamarr Sanders (193-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Novipiu Casale. Four Novipiu Casale players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
