Finals Game 1: Roanne - Fos-Provence 68-72

Fos-Provence overcame Roanne on the road in ProB Finals opener. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. Provence Basket forced 20 Chorale de Roanne turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Pierre Pelos (205-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). The former international forward Tariq Kirksay (199-79, college: Iona, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 5 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Cameroonian forward Benoit Mbala (203-95) answered with 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Mathis Keita (192-92, college: Indiana, PA) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for Chorale de Roanne. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
