Regular Season Round 2: Reales LV - Metros STGO 92-84

There was no surprise in La Vega where Metros STGO (0-2) was defeated by Reales LV (2-0) 92-84. Reales LV players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Guard Juan Coronado (193-83) notched 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and Western Jimenez supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Even 25 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by Victor Liz (193-86, agency: Basket Management Solutions) did not help to save the game for Metros STGO. Naturalized American forward Angel Nunez (203-91, college: S.Florida) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Reales LV's next round opponent will be Indios SFM (#4) in San Francisco. Metros STGO will play on the road against Indios SFM in San Francisco and hope to win that game.
