Finals Game 1: Leones - Lums 81-41

Date: June 12, 2018
Leones fired past Lums to take 1-0 lead in the Finals. Leones held Lums to an opponent 22.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Lums 51-34 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Rachel Hollivay (193-93, college: Rutgers, agency: ProDep Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. The former international Marjorie Caicedo (180-90) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Leones players scored in double figures. Brazilian center Kelly Santos (192-79, agency: Interperformances) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and American Angelina Williams (183-83, college: Illinois) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Lums. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
