Regular Season Round 3: Reales LV - Indios SFM 91-92

Reales LV (2-1) recorded a loss in La Vega. Hosts were edged by Indios SFM (2-1) 92-91. Indios SFM players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a great evening for Juan-Miguel Suero (198-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. German-Uruguayan center Kiril Wachsmann (203-84, college: Iona) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). The best for the losing side was guard Juan Coronado (193-83) with 24 points and 6 assists and American power forward Darian Townes (208-84, college: Arkansas) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Five Indios SFM and four Reales LV players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Indios SFM will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Reales LV will play on the road against Metros STGO in Santiago and hopes to get back on the winning track.
