Obregon upset Navolato on the road to surge ahead in the series. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Garra Canera de Navolato's 32. They outrebounded Garra Canera de Navolato 45-28 including 18 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jimmy Hall (203-94, college: Kent St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 20 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Isaiah Wilkerson (191-90, college: NJIT) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) answered with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Hameed Ali (188-93, college: Texas A&M-CC) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Garra Canera de Navolato.
