Regular Season Round 4: Metros STGO - Reales LV 106-103

The most exciting game of round 4 in the LNB took place in Santiago. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Reales LV (2-2) to seventh ranked Metros STGO (1-2) 106-103 on Sunday evening. 29 personal fouls committed by Reales LV helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Victor Liz (193-86, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) and American forward Jerome Frink (201-93, college: LIU Brooklyn) who added 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Metros STGO players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Juan Coronado (193-83) responded with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and naturalized American Antonio Pena (204-86, college: Villanova) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains seventh position with 1-2 record. Reales LV at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Metros STGO are looking forward to face higher ranked Caneros LR (#5) in La Romana in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Reales LV will play at home against Titanes Licey and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
