Bottom-ranked Hefei is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to seventh ranked Shaanxi X. (3-1) 112-94. The game without a history. Shaanxi X. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Hefei's 38 and made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Hefei 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Hefei helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Troy Gillenwater (205-88, college: N.Mexico St.) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Shaanxi X.'s coach Namkee Kim allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 20 rebounds and guard Lipeng Liu (194-97) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Shaanxi X. have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains seventh place with 3-1 record. Hefei at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Shaanxi X.'s next round opponent will be league's leader Anhui at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hefei will play against Chongqing (#11) in Lanling and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
