Regular Season Round 5: Lhasa - Luoyang 153-150

Important game to mention about took place in Lhasa. Sixth ranked Lhasa (4-1) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Luoyang (2-3) 153-150 on Wednesday evening. Luoyang cut a 17-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Lhasa players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Luoyang was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-91, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 46 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and forward Kun Si (195-95) chipped in 39 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Nigerian forward Ebi Ndudi (206-84) responded with a double-double by scoring 48 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds and American guard Quincy Douby (190-84, college: Rutgers) scored 43 points (!!!) and 8 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!). Five Lhasa and four Luoyang players scored in double figures. Lhasa moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Luoyang at the other side keeps the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with Wuhan. Lhasa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Luoyang will play on the road against Guizhou (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
