Guyana advanced into the championship game. They held off Barbardos in the semifinal clash in Paramaribo. Ray Victor scored 25 points to lead the winners. Guyana stormed into the game taking a 32:15 lead after ten minutes. Barbados narrowed the distance to just 4 points at the interval 45:41. Guyana however limited their opponents to just 12 points in the third term to restore a 7-point lead. Barbados cut the distance in the fourth frame but could not avoid the loss. Anthony Moe chipped in 17 points for the winners. Andre Lockhart answered with 24 points for Barbados.
