Semi-Finals Game 4: Mazatlan - Tijuana 71-87

Tijuana upset Mazatlan on the road to take 3-1 lead in the semifinal series. Tijuana Zonkeys shot 60.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. It was a very good performance for American forward Mychal Ammons (198-92, college: S.Alabama) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Naturalized American swingman Karim Scott (196-88) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) replied with 21 points and American guard Josh Ramirez (198, college: Dominican, CA) added 14 points in the effort for Lobos UAD Mazatlan. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
