Obregon upset Hermosillo on the road to seal their CIBACOPA Finals appearance. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Rayos de Hermosillo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for forward Jimmy Hall (203-94, college: Kent St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Guard Isaiah Wilkerson (191-90, college: NJIT) contributed with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Emmanuel Little (196-85, college: N.Dakota) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Michael Bryson (193-94, college: UCSB) added 23 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Rayos de Hermosillo. Four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and five Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures.
