Regular Season Round 10: Titanes Licey - Indios SFM 90-95

An interesting game for Indios SFM (8-3) which played road game in San Cristobal against 4th ranked Titanes Licey (4-9). First ranked Indios SFM managed to get a 5-point victory 95-90. Indios SFM had a 36-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds. Juan-Miguel Suero (198-93) contributed with a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Indios SFM's coach David Diaz used entire bench in such tough game. American swingman Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit Mercy) replied with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and center Angel Encarnacion (206-86) added 12 points in the effort for Titanes Licey. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Indios SFM have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-3 record. Titanes Licey at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. Indios SFM are looking forward to face league's second-placed Soles SD in Santo Domingo in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Titanes Licey will play on the road against Metros STGO in Santiago and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
