Very expected game when 12th ranked Beijing (4-10) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Wuhan (8-6) 106-92 on Friday. Wuhan had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American swingman Devin Green (201-82, college: Hampton, agency: Interperformances) who scored 32 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Ukrainian center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-94, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Wuhan's coach Wu Zheng used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Devonte Upson (206-93, college: SE Louisiana) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and forward XU Xu (195-94) added 29 points respectively. Four Wuhan and five Beijing players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Wuhan maintains seventh place with 8-6 record. Beijing lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with ten games lost. Wuhan will meet at home higher ranked Hunan (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Beijing will have a break next round.
