The game in Dallas was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Houston (2-3) played at the court of seventh ranked Dallas (2-3). Dallas defeated Houston 104-92 on Saturday. Dallas dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Houston's 36. Dallas forced 32 Houston turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by swingman Malik Morgan (193) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and forward Nyang Wek (198-92) supported him with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Four Dallas players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 7 assists by swingman Curtis Hollis (198-98, college: Hutchinson CC) did not help to save the game for Houston. Jorell Ross added 26 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Dallas moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Houston. Dallas will meet Chicago (#6) on the road in the next round. Houston will play against Seattle and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
