An exciting game was played in Santo Domingo. Second ranked Leones SD faced 4th ranked Titanes Licey. Host Leones SD (8-7) smashed guests from San Cristobal (6-12) 114-89. Leones SD outrebounded Titanes Licey 46-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Guard Yohansy Minaya (185-91) notched 27 points to lead the effort and American Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) supported him with 19 points and 5 assists.
