Cuba gained the second straight win in Barranquilla. They cruised past US Virgin Islands to stay perfect. Suchitel Avila delivered 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the winners. US Virgin Islands snatched an 18:17 lead after ten minutes. But Cuba went on a strong 19:8 rally in the second period to take a 10-point lead. They unloaded 45 points in the second half to cruise to the victory. Yamara Amargo had 16 points for the winners. Imani Tate replied with 15 points and 6 rebounds for US Virgin Islands.
