Top ranked Indios SFM (10-6) recorded its sixth loss in Santiago on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Metros STGO (7-8) 88-83. The best player for the winners was American swingman JJ Moore (198-91, college: Rutgers) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Adris De-Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized American guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany, agency: Basket Management Solutions) produced 26 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Spanish power forward Edward Santana (203-80) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Defending champion maintains third position with 7-8 record having just two points less than leader Indios SFM. Indios SFM lost third consecutive game. They still keep top place with six games lost. Metros STGO are looking forward to face league's second-placed Leones SD in Santo Domingo in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Indios SFM will play at home against the league's second-placed Reales LV and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
