Cuba rallied past Mexico in the semifinal clash. Yamara Amargo tallied 26 points to pace the winners. Cuba gave little hope to their opponents. They grabbed a 45:27 halftime lead. Cuba then went on a 22:13 run in the fourth period to ice the victory. Anisleidys Galindo and Suchitel Avila had 14 points each for the winners. Alexis Castro replied with 18 points for Mexico.
