And finally the game worth to mention about is the one where eighth ranked Humacao (12-22) won against 5th ranked Cariduros (16-18) in a home game by 8 points 86-78 on Tuesday evening. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 49-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Humacao made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Cariduros were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Brandon Costner (206-87, college: NC State) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). International forward Christopher Ortiz (203-93, college: Kent St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 18 points. Humacao will face higher ranked Atleticos (#7) in San German in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cariduros will play on the road against the league's second-placed Vaqueros and will have a slim chance for a victory.
