Berazategui rallied past Las Heras in the opener. Berazategui dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Las Heras' 24 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Berazategui forced 31 Las Heras turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. International guard Macarena Durso (169-91) stepped up and scored 31 points, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners and point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-97) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Berazategui's coach Juan Ferreyra felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side international swingman Natacha Perez (179-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and Abril Ramirez (167-0) scored 22 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field).
