We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengers CAP Rancagua (2-6) was smashed on the road by fifth ranked Vial Basket (2-6) 96-63 on Saturday. Vial Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to CAP Rancagua's 34. They outrebounded CAP Rancagua 44-21 including a 31-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Vial Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by CAP Rancagua's players. Quite impressive performance for Carlos San Cristobal (-90) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
